Orienting oneself on the map is an interesting activity in itself, but it becomes much more exciting when at the end it is waiting for a reward, whether it is a treasure chest or a watermelon hidden in the bushes. The legend of the quest can be any: participants can turn into gold pirates and young discoverers in the style of Jules Verne. Depending on the theme, a conditional "treasure" is also chosen - in any case, it must be something worth the effort. While children look for treasure, adults can try on the images of fairy tale villains and, waiting for children at agreed points, set riddles, and test them in exchange for tips.
Creative workshops
Creative activity simultaneously fascinates, soothes and leaves in your hands a visible result. Perhaps, that's why various master classes have become a very popular way to spend your free time. Draw watercolors and colored sand, decorate cappuccinoes, make soft toys - in one day the whole family may have a new hobby. Don't send your child to paint T-shirts alone - let the whole family have a colorful "team" form and another pleasant memory.
Feeding animals
This is one of those options that require almost no organizational effort, and the pleasant emotions leave a lot to be desired. In Moscow, although it is a metropolis, there are many places where animals live, which are not averse to take the delicacy out of your hands - these are specialized nurseries, mini-zoos or farms, and just quiet corners of city parks, where you will not even have time to look back, as fearless squirrels will melt all the nuts stored for them. Just think of the kind of animals you want to visit, such as ostriches, horses, raccoons, and even alpacas brought from North America, and fill your pockets with the delicacies they'll love.
Flying a kite
Despite the fact that we call this activity "kite flying", the most difficult and interesting thing here is to build this very kite. This design is called "snake" because the very first kites that accompanied the festive processions in the East depicted dragons. But no less joy and admiration will bring the child and the snake, made of a simple plastic bag, the instruction for which is easy to find on the Internet. Draw it, think of a name, history and send him to conquer the sky.
Playing petanque, town or croquet
These games have several things in common: each has a rich history, they are competitive and, importantly, they promote informal communication. For example, croquet was loved by French aristocrats, as they walked from one gate to the other, and had time to discuss the weather, and gossip, and matters of national importance. You can do the same, waiting for your turn to throw balls in the petanque or bat in the towns, with the only difference that the towns were never considered a game of aristocrats.
Fishing
A rod, a jar of worms and a bucket of fish - what else a real man needs, no matter how old he is. It is difficult for the whole family to fish, because this activity requires silence and concentration, but the same conditions are perfect for one-on-one communication with the child. And if, for example, the mother is busy or wants to rest at home, the male half of the family can go fishing to feel like real breadwinners, eating freshly prepared trout at dinner.
