Many people think that preparation of a quest is always a complicated project. Allegedly it is necessary to come up with a theme, to distribute the leading stations, almost special costumes for them to sew. Of course, all this is necessary to create a mega quest, but an entertaining "runner" can be launched in half an hour.

Here are four variants of quests, which are suitable for the company of children in the country, in the family camp and camping.

Quest with notes

It's simple: at the beginning of the quest there is a hint, which allows you to find a place with the next hint, and so on, until the final goal.

For kids, you can directly write the names of the next item: "maple in the yard" or "shop". Ingenuity can be shown by hiding the following hint. It can be taped under the bench or hung on a tree higher (but, of course, do not overestimate the capabilities of children).

For those who are older, you can hint at the next station in the hint, indicating some signs. For example, "iron, blue" (swings), "square, wooden" (sandbox).

For the most intelligent - to use clues, riddles like this:

The stone is finely covered

They put it in a flat box

There's Daniel in the box

Picked by a shovel

(Sandbox)

A little trick: in successive quests, it is better to start preparing from the final point, so it is not easier to get confused, putting out notes.

Quest with a map

You need a map or map of the area (apartment, yard, park) where the places where the "artifacts" are hidden are marked. The map should have clear landmarks on it that you can use to find these places.

At each point, children should get an intermediate prize: collect life stones (oranges) or 9 magic rings (milk or juice lids), 12 fairytale artifacts (walnuts or coins).

Use bright identical envelopes or wrapping paper to easily understand what the artifact is here.

Only by collecting all the intermediate artifacts can you exchange them with the Elder Wizard (daddy/mother) at Elf Castle (in the pergola) for the Main Treasure of the Universe (waffle cake).

Photo Quest

Such a quest is better to spend at home or in a familiar area: in the yard or in the country house.

For a quest you will need to take photos of familiar objects from an unfamiliar angle. For example, a bench can be photographed from below, and a picture of a brick garage with a strong magnification so that it was recognized by the color and texture. The kettle is better to photograph from the inside, and the tree from the angle of "from the hollow". At the same time, the quality of the pictures does not play a big role: the more abstract the picture, the more interesting and difficult it is to guess.

Each new hint photo indicates the next point of the quest, where you can find the next photo, and so on to the final point.

A quest "by arrows"

It has the simplest mechanics, so the quest can be carried out in the forest or park. On the route of the quest are placed marks or arrows. The task of participants is to find them one by one until they reach their destination.

Arrows can be laid out with sticks or stones on the ground, chalk on the paths. Tags can be made by tying colored tape or laces on trees. For younger children, the tags need to be placed in such a way that standing next to one of them can be easily noticed, and for more experienced participants the search for tags may not be as obvious.

Naturally, if a quest is held in the forest or a large park, the team should be accompanied by an adult: excited children may lose their way and run away in search of tags in an unpredictable direction.
