Letter from grandmother to her newborn granddaughter

Оглавление

A wonderful letter to her newborn grandmother's grandmother - simple and wise about everything in the world. It seems we haven't read anything more touching or wiser:

- My dear, I could write this letter to your mother for a quarter of a century ago… But I was 25 then, and I was thinking only of household questions: what to feed my relatives, how to have time to take my daughter to the kindergarten and not miss lectures. Your grandfather worked the night shift and couldn't help me when your mom cried at night because of frequent illness. I'm 50 now, and I've gained some experience that I want to share with you. I do not claim to know everything about life, but after all, I am your grandmother and I want you to be happy. My advice won't hurt you!

1. Don't be afraid to fall

Ride your bike, swings, skates, rollers and don't be afraid to fall. It will be painful, but you will learn to be quick and to rise when you want to cry.

2. Don't be afraid to express your point of view

You are not obliged to remain silent if you dislike something or disagree. Do not hide your thoughts for the sake of friendship or love. If you are not heard or demanded to be loyal, then such a friendship and love.

3. Don't be ashamed to apologize

Only very strong girls are able to apologize and realize their mistakes, and I really want you to grow up to be just that. It's hard to say, "Sorry, I was wrong. How can I remedy this situation? But you have to learn this, and then no one can beat you.

4. Don't be afraid to get a bad grade

The couple is not so bad. This will point you to the weaknesses. You will find out what you will need to work on. A low score does not mean that you are stupid. This is just a motivation for action.

5. Don't be unpopular

While all the popular party-goers will go to parties, spend time in eateries and hang around the clock on the Internet, uploading their photos, you will learn to shoot perfectly, ride a horse, sing and so on. At 18, the pants will still be popular with your pants in front of your computer, and by that time you will be conquering the world and possibly embarking on a journey around the world.

6. Don't be afraid to be weird

Your grandmother is not afraid!

7. Don't be afraid to fall in love

Love will come to you anyway. I'm glad you finally grew up.

8. Don't be afraid of the first kiss

Believe my grandmother this is great! Fear not, all women are perfectly kissing, as it is in our blood.

9. Do not be afraid to get married or, conversely, not to get married

When you grow up, no one will ever mind whether you have a wedding ring or not. But if you decide that marriage and family life are for you, try to meet "your" person, and then everything will work out. Even scattered socks will not be annoying everywhere. But there will be someone to do a massage in the evenings or with whom to walk the dog.

10. Don't be afraid to give birth

I won't lie, it hurts. But this is the most wonderful thing that can be in every woman's life.

11. Don't be afraid of divorce

Everything happens in life. The main thing - do not despair and do not close yourself. Divorce is not the end of life. This is the beginning of something new and probably more interesting.

12. Don't be afraid of loneliness

Sometimes being alone is helpful. You can even enjoy it. But it won't be long - I know our family.

13. Don't be afraid to cry

Tears are the choice of the strong. I am strong and do what I want. I want to cry, I want to laugh, I want to throw socks all over the apartment.

14. Don't be afraid to try something new

Don't think about age and what people will say. Take the best of life and no matter how insane your desire is.

15. Don't be afraid to grow old

With age, you will begin to appreciate life more and love loved ones. And then maybe you will write a letter to your grandchildren.

16. Don't be afraid to lose loved ones

I have long doubted whether you should write this. But losses are inevitable. The loved ones go - but the love does not disappear ...

I love you, your grandmother!
