This is Ubatuba, a coastal city halfway between the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
This region is where most of my best memories have been formed. I grew up spending my summers and also my winter vacations there. I would impatiently wait all year long just to arrive there and meet all my friends who I would only see during those weeks. We would spend all day long barefooted playing beach volleyball and bodyboarding. Then we would go home for a quick shower and meal and meet again at somebody’s house and spend all night long playing board games, truco or poker listening to all types of music. We normally do not know we are going through happy times until they have passed, but by that time I was aware: that was happiness.
