What is our business model ?

Our project uses a real innovating technology and needs to be democratized in order to become successful. In order to be profitable and win money, we chose a business model, which will be explain in this article. Our business revenues will mainly be based on monthly subscriptions made by the customers. We also aim at making advertisement for other companies on our platform in order to raise funds. Monthly subscriptions The monthly subscriptions seem to be the best way to make money and fidelise the customers. In order to penetrate the market and to gain customers, we decide to launch low prices at the beginning to motivate the customers to subscribe. Our strategy is to propose different types of subscriptions depending on the length of the subscription the customer will choose. The more the subscription will be on a long term, the more the prices will be interesting and lower for him. For the moment, we thought about three types of subscriptions, but the price is undecided yet.

Monthly subscriptions

The monthly subscriptions seem to be the best way to make money and fidelise the customers. In order to penetrate the market and to gain customers, we decide to launch low prices at the beginning to motivate the customers to subscribe.

Our strategy is to propose different types of subscriptions depending on the length of the subscription the customer will choose. The more the subscription will be on a long term, the more the prices will be interesting and lower for him. For the moment, we thought about three types of subscriptions, but the price is undecided yet. Indeed, we will detailed this part after the survey. Moreover, we are thinking about instauring a first-month free subscription to let the customers discover the customers and push them to stay after.

Here are the different types of subscriptions:

  • Subscription without engagement
  • Subscription for 6 months
  • Subscription for 1 year and more

All the subscription will include unlimited broadcasting videos and the price of the VR helmet.

This price range has been chosen in order to foster the customers to subscribe to the long term subscriptions. In addition to that, we propose VR helmet prices which defy all competition in order to make the access to the equipment easier.

However, if the customer is not likely to buy a VR helmet on our platform, we will also offer him the possibility to rent one at a very low cost. The price of the rent will be a little bit higher than the price included in the subscription in order to foster the customer to buy one. If a customer wants to stop its subscription before it ends, he will have to pay us a compensation of a low price.

We will also offer the possibility to make advertisement for other brands in order to raise funds. The rentals amount of the advertising place will depend on the time length and the place of the advertisement on our website. We will gradually increase the price according to the popularity of our concept. We will be able to make partnerships with company having the same interests as us and enjoy this relationship to promote our concept in our partners sites.
