-Ты можешь уйти всего на полчаса,— сказала кухарка, — а потом ты должна вернуться и rake out the ashes.
Тогда Кошачья Шкурка смыла the soot c лица и рук и пошла в свою little room. Она открыла the nutshell, встряхнула свое золотое платье и рut it on. Oна пошла to the party. И никто не знал, кто она такая. Король считал её очень beautiful и сам танцевал с ней. Когда танец закончился, она ускользнула в свою tiny bedroom, сняла золотое платье, накинула fur cloak и вымазала with soot pуки и лицо.

One day there was a feast in the king's palace and she asked the сook,
"May l go and watch the fine ladies and gentlemen?"
"You can go for just half-an-hour" said the cook, "and then you must come back and rake out the ashes"
So Catskin washed the soot off her face and hands, and went into her little room. She oрened the nutshell, shook out her golden dress, and put it on. She went to the party and no one knew who she was. The king thought she was very beautiful and danced with her himself.
When the dance was over, she slipped away to her tiny bedroorm, took off her golden dress, put on her fur cloak, and blackened her hands and face with soot.
