"The Rain and the Sun" There once was a cloud named Fred Who loved to rain on people's heads. He'd pelt them with drops of water cold, And laugh as they ran for shelter bold! But one day, old Sol came by— With a smile so bright it made him cry! For he shone his rays so fierce and hot, That poor Fred began to melt a lot! Fred tried to hide behind a tree, But alas, 'twas no use, you see. Sol just laughed and said, "Oh dear, You're melting like an ice cream sphere!" So now when clouds want to play tricks, They make sure they're not near old Sol's kicks. For if they do, they'll surely find, Their raindrops turn into steamy grinds! --- Hope this brings a chuckle or two!
