Кошмар перед Рождеством. Трудности перевода и понимания
Обожаю мультики Тима Бёртона. Хоть в данном случае он и не был режиссёром, но продюсером и сценаристом. Но ведь это уже больше чем режиссёр. Мультик снят в девяностые годы. Принадлежит категории детских страшилок на рождество, поэтому разбор официального перевода картины мало кто сделал. А зря, там зарыта кладезь непереводимых знаков и пасхалок, которые русский глаз и ухо могут легко упустить. Вот что я заметила при пересмотре в оригинале этого кукольного шедевра - "The Nightmare Before Christmas"...
The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 American stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy film. Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion. Sally, a feminine creation of local mad scientist Doctor Finkelstein, secretly loves Jack. In the end, the citizens finally realize the true meaning of Christmas, while the main characters declare their love for each other and share a kiss. Tim Burton says the original poem was inspired by his seeing Halloween merchandise display in a store being taken down and replaced by a Christmas display. The juxtaposition of ghouls and goblins with Santa 🎅 and his reindeer 🦌 sparked his imagination.
