We played board games, told stories, and went hiking in the forest. I learned how to build a fire and identify different bird songs. I even read three books! When the Coast Guard boarded the ship, they were greeted only by a half-dead dog. There was no one else on board the Cuban ship "Rubicon", although the crew's personal belongings were in the cabins. The ship itself was in perfect order, but its towing line had been torn off and all the lifeboats were missing.
