Speaking club Мы разработали методический материал, на основе которого можно провести интересный интерактивный урок для учеников средних и старших классов и хотим поделиться этим с преподавателями английского. Environment WARM-UP: Every student introduces to others one by one repeating the previous student`s speech. This will make students more comfortable and relaxed.  AIM: to give students practice of language items (vocabulary, interactively grammar functions etc.) and to develop students’ ability to speak fluently and interactively. PLAN (60 min): 1)   Guess the topic of the lesson (10 min) Students should watch the video and guess the topic of the lesson. www.youtube.com/...88s After guessing the topic teacher asks questions and makes discussion more creative and fluent. Example of questions: 1) Do you think pollution is a big problem nowadays? 2) What do you do to prevent the environment from pollution? 3) Are you worried about climate change? 4) Do you use renewable energy? 5) Do you take an interest in nature?  2) Vocabulary (10 min): A teacher shows the presentation with the words and explains their definition. 1. Deforestation-вырубка лесов 2. Environmentalist-человек, которому не безразлично состояние от окружающей среды 3. Greenhouse gas emissions-парниковые газы 4. Natural habitat-среда обитания 5. Conservationists-защитники природы 6. Endangered species-вымирающий вид 7. Vegetation-растительность 8. Global warming and climate change 9. Burning of fossil fuels-cжигание ископаемого топлива 10. What helps me keep balance in my life is having a plan for the week and for each day. It's not about strict schedules, but knowing roughly what needs to happen when. Sunday evenings I sketch out the big stuff - work deadlines, social plans, grocery runs. Each morning I jot down three main tasks for the day. This simple system stops me from feeling overwhelmed while still leaving room for surprises. When everything's written down, my brain can relax instead of constantly reminding me what I might forget...
