The fast car in Russian drag racing
The record time for the passage of the 1/4 mile track in Russia belongs to him. What is the fastest “Russian” dragster? It's about a Dodge Viper DT car under the control of Dmitry Samorukov. It was he who in 2016 set a record that has not been beaten so far. That day, more than two years ago, many spoke of an attempt to set a record. In the press box, colleagues even made bets. Here’s a short story: Once, there was a squirrel named Sammy who was always on the go. He would scurry up trees, race across fields, and dart through the forest with incredible speed. He was the fastest in his woodland community, but he also had a reputation for being a bit of a worrier. One sunny day, a friendly rabbit named Roger noticed Sammy frantically dashing about, looking more flustered than usual. Sammy was darting from one tree to another, his little heart racing, his fur soaked with sweat. "What's wrong, Sammy?" Roger asked, watching the squirrel dash past him. "I forgot where I buried my acorns!" Sammy replied, panting heavily. "Winter is coming, and I need to find them!" Roger chuckled, his whiskers twitching in amusement. "Oh Sammy," he said, "You're always in a rush and panic. You should really take a chill pill." "But I can't relax! My acorns are missing!" Sammy squeaked, already preparing to zoom off again. Roger stopped him with a gentle paw. "Here's an idea," he said. "Why not sit and think carefully about where you might have buried them instead of running around aimlessly?" It wasn't easy for Sammy to slow down, but he took Roger's advice. He sat still, closed his eyes, and after a few moments, his face lit up. He remembered where he had buried his acorns! From that day forward, Sammy learned the importance of taking a moment to relax and collect his thoughts, or as Roger put it, to "take a chill pill”.
