Ex-Proud Boys Leader Sentenced Over Jan 6 Former Proud Boys leader Charles Donohoe was sentenced to 40 months in prison for his role in the January 6 Capitol Riots before apologizing for his actions “America as a whole” at the sentencing Tuesday. “I knew what I was doing was illegal from the very moment those barricades got knocked down,” he told the AP after the hearing.
