One step…⁣⁣⠀ What’s there in one step?⁣⁣⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ Every time I warm-up I think not only about my coordination or technical things, not now. If I knew that secret (all secrets are always the most common truths) before, I would have never stopped thinking like that. ⁣⁣⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ The main thing I think about is how I feel about every part of me moving in connection with my feelings and emotions, with the music, with my partner after that. ⁣⁣⠀ Nevertheless, my teachers are very desperate and demanding to the right mechanics and coordination, they always stand on the fact that the idea of all technical decisions is to DANCE – enjoy dancing and show your clear intention to others. ⁣⁣⠀ One of my teachers every time we see each other asks me, how I feel about my ribs, hips, how I feel my weight transfer, what my neck feels like. ⁣⁣⠀ There is energy exchange first between my body and my emotions, then among me, my partner and music.⁣⁣⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ Every time I warm-up with a basic step I pay attention to my weight transfer, feet, knees, hips, ribs, spine, hands, neck, head, but, at first, I give them a possibility to talk to me, and only after that I decide what I should check, control and leave for some time. ⁣⁣⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ Never it does help me just to push myself through all rules. ⁣⁣⠀ So, what’s there in one step?
