Если вы так скажете, то, скорее всего, собеседник подумает,  что  в̶ы̶ ̶п̶л̶о̶х̶о̶ ̶з̶н̶а̶е̶т̶е̶ ̶а̶н̶г̶л̶и̶й̶с̶к̶и̶й вы говорите о кухонном интерьере.
Когда мы говорим о традициях приготовления пищи, лучше использовать слово 'food', а еще лучше слово 'cuisine' /kwɪˈziːn/...
