In travels, everything is just like in life: the most important thing is that with each new country, as well as with the past years, do not lose the ability to be surprised and admire. And also pay attention to details, do not look back, and do not compare with what has already happened. Carpe diem, as they say. Although, this does not apply to Bolivia. The country surprises and delights to the fullest. We spent exactly a month here and, frankly, our expectations were very high. So many people admire this country, and so many rave reviews were read before the trip...

Early morning. Avenida de Mayo, the central avenue of Byres. A series of colonial buildings in the shadow of huge plane trees, stretching several kilometers from the Pink House (Casa Rosada, i.e. the presidential palace) to the monumental building of the Congress, for a moment making you really believe that you are somewhere in Europe.  On one of the houses there is a yellow sign about which I read so much. Havanna. No, no, we are in Argentina. I don’t know what you thought, but this is the most famous chain of coffee houses here...

“To fall in love with Ushuaia at first sight, you need to fly there by plane,” I read once. As a matter of fact, this is how it turned out. Before that, we just went to the track to Mount Fitzroy and watched the stunningly beautiful Perito Moreno Glacier near El Calafate. Ushuaia has always been a dream - inaccessible, as far as possible from everything where we have been before and practically inaccessible. To be honest, Argentina never entered my top 5 countries where I wanted to visit in the near future. I had little idea what was interesting there and how huge it was.
