Hi everyone!
My name is Alatas, and I’m the creator of the Welyano language. I’m excited to announce that I’m launching an international competition — and I’d love for you to take part!
The goal is simple: let’s see who can learn Welyano the best — and which country will come out on top!
Here’s what you need to know about the competition:
It’s fully remote. You can join from anywhere in the world — no need to travel anywhere.
Learn your way. You’re free to study however you like.
Equal learning materials. Everyone gets the same learning content — but it will be available in different languages (English for US participants, Russian for Russian‑speaking participants, etc.).
No pressure. You can leave the competition at any time — just say “I don’t want to participate anymore”, and that’s it. No penalties, no issues.
No money involved. There are no fees, prizes, or anything like that — this is just for fun and to promote the Welyano language!
How to join:
There will be a sign‑up form where you can register for the competition. Once you do, your nickname will appear on the public list of participants. You can check the list anytime to see who else is taking part.
Important dates:
April 28: I’ll publish a detailed instruction guide explaining exactly how the competition works.
April 28: Registration opens — and it will stay open all the time! You can sign up whenever you want.
One more cool thing:
This competition doesn’t have an end date! There will be a public leaderboard showing the top participants — the people who know Welyano the best. You’ll be able to check your progress and compare it with others. (Of course, I won’t be on the list — I already know Welyano best, after all! 😅)
I’m really looking forward to seeing who joins and how everyone progresses. It’s going to be a fun, friendly challenge!
Hope to see you on April 28 when registration opens. Feel free to share this with friends who might be interested! 😊
Best wishes,
Alatas
