The novel’s main character is a little girl Mary Lennox who has nasty nature. She moved to England to uncle from India when her parents died.
One day girl learns about the mysterious abandoned garden. And she decides to find it. Then she finds friends and she transforms garden and herself with them.
I think the author wanted to show how important to have a connection between people and nature.
I like cozy atmosphere in this book. Also, I remember the first meeting between Mary and the gardener Ben. During this meeting Ben showed Mary his friend. It was the bird, Robin.
This story taught me that everyone can change for the better like Mary.
