Probably another placebo but give it a try (floaty mouse in games fix)
Tweaked my registry so many times and after that still no fix for floaty mouse.
Just use sfc /scannow in CMD.
After that in powershell type
Remove-Item -Path "HKCU:\Control Panel\Mouse" -Recurse -Force
which is deleteing corrupted or modded values of mouse entries.
Reboot.
Do not forget to disable Enhance pointer Precision after the reboot
Try this out
