Здравствуйте, дорогие друзья! Как вы знаете, тема России сейчас очень актуальна для сдающих ОГЭ и ЕГЭ. Мы решили выпустить серию постов-шпаргалок по России.
Мы уже опубликовали пост на тему "ИЗВЕСТНЫЕ ЛИЧНОСТИ".
Сегодня мы разберем тему "ЕДА И НАПИТКИ".
1. 🍲 Soups (Супы)
• Borscht (Борщ)
Definition: a type of soup made from beetroot (= a small, dark red vegetable)
• Shchi (Щи)
Definition: a traditional Russian cabbage soup, which can be made with meat or vegetables.
• Ukha (Уха)
Definition: a Russian fish soup, typically made with freshwater fish and root vegetables.
2. 🍖 Main Courses (Основные блюда)
• Pelmeni (Пельмени)
Definition: a Russian dish consisting of small dumplings filled with minced meat, served with sour cream.
• Kasha (Каша)
Definition: a porridge, usually made from grains like buckwheat, oats, or semolina, often eaten for breakfast or as a side dish.
• Golubtsy (Голубцы)
Definition: a dish of cooked cabbage leaves wrapped around a filling, typically minced meat and rice.
3. 🥗 Salads (Салаты)
• Olivier Salad (Салат Оливье)
Definition: a salad made with boiled potatoes, carrots and pickles, green peas, eggs, optional meat ingredients, and dressed with mayonnaise, it is one of the main dishes served during New Year’s celebrations.
• Dressed Herring (Сельдь под шубой)
Definition: a layered salad of salted herring covered with grated boiled vegetables (beetroot, potato, carrot) and mayonnaise.
4. 🥞 Pastry and Pancakes (Выпечка и блины)
• Blini (Блины)
Definition: thin, light pancakes eaten in Russia, often served with sour cream, jam, or caviar.
• Pirozhki (Пирожки)
Definition: baked or fried buns with a variety of fillings
5. 🥛 Drinks (Напитки)
• Kompot (Компот)
Definition: a sweet, non-alcoholic beverage made by cooking fresh or dried fruits in water, often served chilled.
• Kvass (Квас)
Definition: a fermented cereal-based beverage with a sweet-and-sour flavour
