В январе мы традиционно отправляемся в Центральноафриканскую Республику, чтобы погрузиться в мир исчезающих видов и племен.
С вырубанием непроходимых лесов Центральной Африки исчезает ареал обитания как животных, так и людей, для которых джунгли - гостеприимный и изобильный дом - пигмеев племени баяка и бака. Тысячелетиями "люди величиной с кулак" жили в этих местах неразрывно с природой, занимаясь охотой и собирательством.
Джунгли Дзанга Санга одни из немногих, где ещё можно встретиться лицом к лицу с самцом гориллы, увидеть лесных слонов и послушать истории пигмеев о духе Эженги.
Пока ещё у нас есть возможность погрузиться в удивительный мир лесных жителей, поучаствовать в охоте, посмотреть, как добывается дикий мёд с верхушек деревьев, но совсем скоро этот народ и эти виды могут стать лишь историей.

In January, we traditionally travel to the Central African Republic to immerse ourselves in the world of endangered species and tribes.
With the deforestation of the impenetrable forests of Central Africa, the habitats of both animals and people are disappearing. For the Bayaka and Baka pygmy tribes, the jungle is a hospitable and abundant home. For millennia, the "people the size of a fist" have inhabited these areas, living in harmony with nature through hunting and gathering.
The Dzanga Sangha jungles are one of the few places where you can still come face-to-face with a male gorilla, see forest elephants, and listen to pygmy stories about the spirit of Ejengi.
While we still have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the amazing world of forest dwellers, participate in hunts, and witness the harvesting of wild honey from treetops, very soon these people and species might become just history!
