Not about English.
The Victory day is coming closer and closer. I always feel very proud of my country watching the Victory parade, young soldiers marching on the Red Square, jet planes flying in the sky. I love this holiday with all my heart. My great grandfathers died in that war, they died protecting their children, wives, mothers and sisters… All we can do today is to remember them, celebrate their victory, the fact that they didn’t disappear in vain.
So I can’t and won’t understand those people who say “we don’t need this celebration “ or “we don’t need tanks on the Red Square “ or “we don’t need to dress our children in uniform “ or “this celebration is useless”.
It is not useless! Never was! What kind of nation do you want to have? A nation of woke snowflakes?Or a nation of smart, intelligent people who respect their past and ready to build future?
I am proud of Victory Day celebration in Russia, proud of tanks, planes, brave soldiers. I am proud to show this part of armaments we possess to all the world to see it and to think twice before even thinking to mess up with us.
