Lefty" is the most famous, largest and oldest flea market in Moscow at the same time: the organizers of the fair count its history since 1824, when the legendary market appeared on Khitrovka.

The shopping malls are located in the open air — some sellers are standing at tables, someone is showing goods from the trunk of a car, and someone is laying out the brought belongings directly on the ground. Anyone can take a trading place: depending on the type of place, a sales permit costs from 50 to 1000 rubles per day.

Here you can find both real rarities like pre-revolutionary furniture and Soviet Christmas tree toys, as well as a new model masquerading as an antique or just unnecessary things. Tourists often come to the flea market, so some sellers raise prices. But usually ready to bargain — do not hesitate to ask for a discount.
