The LANGOLIERS
The LANGOLIERS is a horror miniseries consisting of two parts of 1½ hours each. It is based on a novella by Stephen King from the four-part anthology book Four Past Midnight.
Most of the passengers and all the members of the crew of an airplane mysteriously disappear when it flies through a strange light, and the remainder (who were asleep at the time of the flight) land the plane in a mysteriously barren airport which means it is completely deserted and without power.
I am in the habit of mentioning the LANGOLIERS when my students are being taught to know the difference between Present Perfect and Past Simple.
