From July 13 to 18, Biden is scheduled to travel to the Middle East.
During the trip, Biden will visit Saudi Arabia and meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Back in May, the US made an attempt to contact the UAE, but they did not want to talk to Biden in the UAE. At the end of May, two advisers to the US President went to Riyadh for secret talks and asked for permission for the US President to come to Riyadh.
When Putin flew to Saudi Arabia, his plane was accompanied by a flight of Royal Air Force fighters. At the airport, Putin was met by King Abdullah ibn Aziz. They sang hymns, hung flags. Putin's second visit in 2019 was even more honorable. The parties signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of manned astronautics and the development of the Glonass global navigation system.
Moscow and Riyadh have agreed on mutual protection of investments, on cooperation in the field of culture and healthcare.
Now all the world's media are waiting to see how Biden will be greeted there. If the US President is met at least a gram worse, then right at the airport it will become clear whether the States have managed to buy friendship with the UAE.
The United States will have to restore relations, as relations were greatly complicated after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.
