Bolster your vocabulary by leaps and bounds


Why not embark on a new year with a clean slate and plunge into a brand-new vocabulary venture? I've acted myself together after a string of binge-watching and -eating to bring sth worthwhile to you, so I cherish a hope you will appreciate it via a mere click of the "like" button underneath. Let's get cracking!

1)The vocabulary files(C1/C2)

Beware of this specimen as it's not for the faint of heart! It's a treasure trove of super-advanced/proficient academic vocabulary perfectly eligible for you provided that you aim at IELTS 8.0-8.5. Unless you have lifted a finger to examine its "younger" twin, leap at the chance and give it a whirl in no time!

2) Tests in English thematic vocabulary

This is a find of a lifetime(particularly, if you happen to be as much of a vocabulary junkie as me)! On condition that you are not lucky enough to be surrounded by English on a day-to-day, you might sense a lack of everyday words denoting stationaries/ animals/kitchen utensils and all that jazz, therefore, I would advise you to delve into an ample portion of such in this textbook.

3)Natural collocation in use

Unlike the aforementioned sources of vocabulary, this one is nowhere near as intricate as them, however, it might come in handy if any linguistic conundrum comes up.

4)Advancing phrasal verbs

Being one of the least notable of the entire list, it should not escape your attention, especially, if you acknowledge the need for a greater command of phrasal verbs.

P.S. I would keep enumerating copious lists of any other vocabulary textbooks, yet, truth be told and my being brutally honest with you, I'm not partial to miracles and overly ambitious(frequently unrealistic) goals. Do your utmost and DO hit the books.
