Questions and answers about school

Q: What’s your favourite subject at school? Why?
A: My favourite subject is History because I love learning about how people lived in the past and understanding how events shaped the world we live in today.

Тема: Животные

I think animals play a very important role in our lives and in the world around us. There are so many different species, from tiny insects to huge elephants, and each of them is unique in its own way. In my region, you can often see squirrels, foxes, and various birds in the forests and parks.

Some people choose to keep pets like cats or dogs because they provide companionship and make homes feel warmer. I believe it’s not a good idea to keep wild animals as pets since they need special conditions and freedom that it’s hard to provide in a house. Zoos exist in many cities, and their purpose is often to protect endangered species and educate the public about wildlife.

However, I think zoos should focus on creating environments that are as close to the animals’ natural habitats as possible. Animals also help humans in many ways — for example, dogs can assist people with disabilities, and horses have been used for work and transport for centuries.

We must remember to treat all animals with kindness and respect, and we should do more to protect their habitats from destruction. Overall, I feel that learning about animals and helping to conserve them is one of the important responsibilities we have as humans.

Тема: Интернет

The Internet has become an essential part of our daily lives and it’s hard to imagine the modern world without it. People use it for all sorts of things — to communicate with friends and family, to study, to work, and to entertain themselves. For students, the Internet is a huge resource because they can find information on any topic, watch educational videos, and take online courses.

Social media platforms let us stay in touch with people from different countries and share moments from our everyday lives. However, spending too much time online can be harmful — it may lead to less face‑to‑face interaction and problems with sleep or focus. There are also risks like cyberbullying, fake news, and privacy issues that everyone should be aware of.

On the positive side, the Internet helps businesses reach more customers and gives people new opportunities to start their own projects or find remote jobs. During the pandemic, it played a crucial role by keeping schools and offices running through online platforms.

To use the Internet safely, it’s important to protect your personal data, think critically about what you read, and take regular breaks from screens. Overall, I believe that if we use it wisely, the Internet can be a powerful tool that improves our lives and connects people all over the world.

Travelling is something I’ve always found exciting because it gives you a chance to see new places and experience different cultures. Many people enjoy travelling because it helps them escape their daily routine and discover amazing things they’ve never seen before.

Personally, I love exploring historic cities where you can walk around old streets and visit interesting museums. One of my dream destinations is Italy — I’d love to see Rome, try authentic Italian food, and learn more about its rich history. When I travel, I prefer to use public transport or walk so that I can really feel the atmosphere of the place and notice small details.

Packing for a trip can be tricky, but I always make sure to bring a guidebook, a camera, and comfortable shoes. Meeting local people and trying traditional dishes are some of the best parts of any journey — they help you understand the culture much better. Of course, travelling isn’t always easy; you might face language barriers or unexpected changes to your plans, but overcoming these challenges can be rewarding.

I also think travelling teaches you a lot about yourself — it builds confidence and helps you become more independent. Overall, I believe that exploring the world is one of the most valuable experiences a person can have, and I hope to visit many more countries in the future.
