From April 23 to 25 of this year, an International Para Athletics Grand Prix was held in Rabat, Morocco. In this prestigious competition, which featured nearly 500 athletes from 57 countries, the national team of Uzbekistan secured a total of 12 medals. Notably, Sevinchbek Husanov (T12 class), a lecturer at the Department of Sports Activities at Karshi State University, won a bronze medal in the long jump event. Despite this being his debut in an international competition, he successfully earned significant ranking points. This achievement grants our athlete the opportunity to participate in the 5th Asian Para Games to be held in Nagoya, Japan, in 2026, as well as the World Championships scheduled to take place in Tashkent in 2027.
