Covenant AI, a major team behind several Bittensor subnets, announced it is leaving the ecosystem and sold 37,000 $TAO (~$10M). The team publicly accused Bittensor founder Const of centralized control, claiming emissions to its subnets were suspended and its infrastructure was deprecated without consent. The sell-off dropped $TAO's price from around $340 to $275.
