Гуанчжоу Guǎngzhōu 广州
Исторический центр и район для прогулок и шопинга находится на улице Пекин (Beijing Lu, 北京路) и вокруг неё. Там есть указатели на китайском и английском для туристов, чтобы найти все достопримечательности. Также там есть несколько музеев и храмов.
В конце улицы Beijing Lu у реки находится станция, где можно сесть на кораблик и прокатиться по реке.
Можно прогуляться вдоль реки и увидеть башню Кантон (Canton Tower) ночью.
Можно побродить по острову Шамянь (Shamian Island, 沙面岛), адрес: 荔湾区沙面北街54号/ Shamian north street, 54 / metro: Huangsha, выход E. Вы переходите мост со стороны города, чтобы попасть на этот остров, но оно не ощущается как остров. Идите в это место, если скучаете по Европе и хотите прогуляться по широкой улице и увидеть европейскую архитектуру (наследие европейского присутствия здесь).
Можно пойти в Родовой зал клана Чэнь (Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, 陈家祠), Эньлунли (Enlongli), улица Чжуншань 78 (Zhongshan 78th Road), район Ливань (Liwan District).
Я очень хотела пойти в Музей провинции Гуандун (Guangdong Museum), но он был закрыт в понедельник.
Я поехала в древнюю деревню эпохи Юань Сяочжоу (Xiaozhou Yuan Dynasty Ancient Village, 小洲站), район Хайчжу (Haizhu District). Честно говоря, это странное место, но именно поэтому оно такое очаровательное. Я была там в сентябре, и, возможно, поэтому река пересохла, чувствовался запах и была видна грязь. Весь район выглядит так, будто его хотели сделать туристическим, но что-то пошло не так. Я ездила на Лотосовую гору (Lotus Hill, 莲花山). Из центра города нужно проехать две ветки метро, а затем сесть на автобус до парка (общественный автобус 93 или 92; также есть частные автобусы за 8 юаней, их промоутеры немного назойливые, так что вы их не пропустите). В парке вход стоит 43 юаня. Территория не очень большая. Там есть храм, статуя Будды, лотосы разных видов и место, похожее на скалы. У меня было ощущение, что эти скалы вырезаны, а не образованы естественным путём. Они напомнили мне немного Лес каменных столбов в Куньмине (Stone Forest in Kunming), немного скалы в Португалии. Но если смотреть оттуда на город, видно только промышленную зону у реки. Кроме того, в парке много объявлений о том, что нельзя мусорить и так далее, что напоминает о том, что вы не совсем на природе. В общем, моё личное мнение — этот парк не стоит усилий на полуторачасовую поездку в один конец. Лучше остаться в городе, там тоже много парков.
Где я ела
Есть торговый центр Mall of the World, 花城汇, где на нижнем этаже можно найти множество ресторанов, включая кухню провинции Гуандун (кантонскую). Когда я там был, я пошёл за курьерами KuaiDi (доставка), и многие из них забирали еду из ресторана под названием «Саньлянфынь» (三两粉, Sanliangfen). Это сетевой ресторан, который можно найти и в других частях Гуанчжоу. Лапша была восхитительной.
Я ходила в русский ресторан «Катюша» (Katusha, 喀秋莎俄式西餐厅), было вкусно.

What to do
The historical center and shopping/walking area is located on and around Beijing Lu (北京路)。There are signs in Chinese and English for tourists to find all the spots of interest. There are a couple of museums and temples there.
At the end of Beijing lu by the river there is a station where you can take a ship ride down the river.
You can walk along the river, see the Canton tower by night time.
You can stroll at Shamian island沙面岛(荔湾区沙面北街54号/ Shamian north street, 54 / metro: Huangsha, exit E). I would say it doesn’t feel like an island, you just cross a bridge from the city side to go to this place. Go there if you miss Europe and want to stroll on a broad street and see European architecture (heritage of the European presence here).
You can go to Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (陈家祠 ), Enlongli, Zhongshan 78th Road, Liwan District.
I really wanted to go to Guangdong Museum, Zhujiang East Road, Tianhe District, which is downtown, but it was closed on Monday.
I went to Xiaozhou Yuan Dynasty Ancient Village, 小洲站Haizhu District. This is a weird place to be honest but because of that it’s so charming. I was there in September, and maybe that’s why the river dried up, and you could smell it a bit and see the trash. The whole area looks like it was meant to be a touristy place but something went wrong. I took lots of beautiful pictures of objects like windows, narrow streets, ladders, brooms, bicycles, bicycles fetched from the river. There is also an oyster shell house that surprised me a lot (it’s quite unique). All in all, I recommend going there (not a fancy place at all). Take a bus to小洲站stop, and from there you will see a sign that leads you to the gate. It’s not really a village but an old city area.
I went to the Lotus Hill (“mountain”), 莲花山. From downtown you’ll have to take 2 metro lines, and then take a bus to the park (public bus 93 or 92; there’re also private buses for 8 yuan, the promoters are slightly annoying, so you won’t miss them). At the park you pay 43 yuan for the entrance. The area is not very big. There is a temple, a statue of Buddha, lotuses of different kinds and a cliff-like place. I had a feeling that these cliffs were carved rather than naturally formed. They reminded me a bit of the Stone Forest in Kunming, a bit of the cliffs in Portugal. But from there if you look at the city, all you can see is the industrial zone by the river. Also, there are lots of public announcements in the park about not littering and so on which reminds you of the fact that you are not really in nature. All in all, my personal opinion is that this park is not worth the effort of one hour and a half ride one way. Better stay in the city, there are plenty of parks there, too.
Where to eat
There is a variety of international restaurants, I only went to the Russian one called Katusha (喀秋莎俄式西餐厅俄), it was good.
There is a mall called Mall of the World (花城汇) where you can find a variety of restaurants on the lower floor including Guangdong cuisine (Cantonese). When I was there I followed the Kuaidi (delivery) people, and a lot of them went to pick up food from a restaurant called 三两粉 (sanliangfen). It’s a chain restaurant which you can find in other parts of Guangzhou, too. The noodles were delicious.
