Erebor Bank, a newly chartered U.S. national bank founded by Oculus co-founder Palmer Luckey, has secured an investment from the Fundrise Innovation Fund (VCX). The bank, which received its full national charter in February 2026, is designed to serve technology companies and startups with products including lines of credit backed by crypto or private securities. Other backers include Palantir co-founders Joe Lonsdale and Peter Thiel, alongside Haun Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and Lux Capital.
