➕Language tip: history or story?
Слова переводятся одинаково на русский, но имеют различия:
History - история как прошлые события или учебный предмет.
I’m really interested in history.
We had a test in History yesterday.
The history of this country is very complicated.
Это «история» в смысле прошлого, фактов, развития чего-то.
Story - рассказ, история (то, что кто-то рассказывает; может быть выдуманной или реальной).
Tell me a story before I go to bed.
This story is about two friends who travel the world.
He told us a funny story about his dog.
Это повествование, narrativе — то, что мы читаем или слышим.
Главное не путать:
You study history, but you tell / read a story.
