Last Sunday, my family and I went to the city zoo. It was a sunny day, and there were many people there. We started with the bird section — we saw colourful parrots and a big eagle. Then we went to look at the monkeys. They were very active: some were swinging from branches, and one was eating a banana!
My little brother’s favourite part was the aquarium. He loved the bright fish and the huge turtle swimming slowly. After that, we visited the lions and tigers. The lion was sleeping, but the tiger was walking up and down its cage.
We had a picnic near the lake and watched the ducks. I took many photos, and we all had a great time. It was one of the best Sundays ever!

Thanks for your email. I’m very excited about the summer holidays! This year, I’m going to visit my grandparents in the countryside. They live in a small village near a forest and a river. I plan to swim and go fishing with my grandpa. He says there are big fish in the river!
In July, my parents and I will go to the seaside for two weeks. I’ll build sandcastles, swim in the sea, and maybe try surfing — I saw some people doing it last year, and it looked amazing!
At the end of August, my friends and I want to have a camping trip. We’re going to sleep in tents, make a campfire, and tell stories at night. I hope the weather will be good.
