I have chosen the summer volunteer program at the "Sborka" Eco-center in Moscow. It's not a camp where you live, but a local project. It's perfect for summer because I can make a real difference for the city's environment without traveling far. I will learn about recycling and work with a team.
My work will include:
1. I will accept materials from people, explain the sorting rules, and answer their questions.
2. I will help with detailed sorting (for example, by plastic type) and prepare materials for shipping.
3. Community Work: I might help with educational tours or workshops at the center.
How to Apply: You need to fill out a simple Google Form on their official website or VKontakte page. After that, a coordinator will contact you for a short instruction and add you to the schedule.
For me, "Sborka" is the perfect summer activity. It's useful physical work, new knowledge, a real service to the city, and a step towards a more responsible life.
