An orthodontic bionator is a multifunctional device. The device is designed to eliminate morphological and functional pathologies of the dental device at the time of temporary or permanent bite.
The special feature of the bionator is that it is capable of performing the functions of several devices at once. It can be used as the main purpose - an orthodontic plate for widening or narrowing the jaw, mouth guard for correction or bite fixator.
By installing this design, dentists have the opportunity to correct the tilt and direction of the teeth, connect the functional muscles of the face, and achieve narrowing or expansion of the jaw bone, depending on the treatment plan.
Types of apparatus:
1. THE MAXILLARY PLATE WITH AN INCLINED PLANE AND VESTIBULAR ARCH
It is used to correct distal and posterior occlusion, prognathology.
2. THE BRUCKL-REICHENBACH APPARATUS
Promotes the movement of teeth and the development of jaw muscles. Designed to be worn on the lower jaw.
3. BALTERS BIONATOR
Forms the correct closure of the jaws and corrects their position in relation to each other.
4. THE ANDRESEN-GOYLE DEVICE
Correction of permanent and removable bite. It is made individually for the patient. The product installation period is the stage of permanent bite formation.
5. THE WUNDERER ACTIVATOR
It is used to correct the medial occlusion.
6. THE ESHLER SYSTEM
The two–sided design is used to correct medial occlusion, and the one-sided design is used for cross occlusion.
7. THE CLAMMTA ACTIVATOR
The design is removable, designed to be mounted on two jaws at once. Corrects crowding of teeth and increases interdental gaps.
8. THE JANSON BIONATOR
Jaw closure disorders caused by the protruding upper incisors beyond the edges of the lower ones, and also helps to tilt the teeth towards the tongue or palate.
9. THE KHOROSHILINA AND ZUBKOVA SYSTEM
It is used during the change from a milky bite to a permanent bite to correct the medial closure of the jaws.
