Level: B1 📖 Text (English) You see the ads everywhere: juicy burgers, golden fries, and cold, sweet drinks. They look amazing, and when you eat them, they taste even better. There's a scientific reason for this. Fast food is carefully designed to be addictive. It contains the perfect, unhealthy mix of fat, sugar, and salt that our brains love. This combination tricks our brain into releasing "feel-good" chemicals, making us want more. The food is also very soft and easy to eat quickly, so we often consume a lot of calories before feeling full. But this delicious taste comes at a high cost. These meals are full of unhealthy fats, processed ingredients, and huge amounts of sugar and salt. Eating them regularly can lead to serious health problems. People can gain too much weight, develop diabetes, or have heart issues. The convenience and low price make fast food an easy choice, but it's a harmful one for our long-term health. It’s a reminder that sometimes, what tastes best isn’t good
