На связи телеграм-канал "Английский язык для поступления в Лицей ВШЭ"!
В эссе для поступления в Лицей чаще всего теряют баллы не из-за “скудного английского”, а из-за структуры: не обозначили разные точки зрения, странное введение, нет логики — и всё, оценка падает.
В этом посте даю универсальный шаблон эссе для 9 класса: что писать во введении, как оформить плюсы/минусы и как нормально добавить своё мнение, чтобы это засчитали на проверке.
Абзац 1. Введение (3–4 предложения)
- Общая фраза про тему:
- Nowadays, [topic] is becoming more and more popular.
или
- These days many people are interested in [topic].
2. Указать, что есть разные мнения / есть плюсы и минусы
- Some people believe that [утверждение про плюс темы], whereas others think differently.
3. Сообщить, что вы сделаете в эссе
- This essay will consider both pros and cons of [topic] and I will give my own opinion.
Абзац 2. Плюсы (3–4 предложения)
- Топик-sentence (главная мысль абзаца)
- On the one hand, one important advantage of [topic] is that…
или
- A major benefit of [topic] is that…
2. Объяснение
- People who … can…
- This means that…
3. Пример
- For example, … / For instance, …
4. Мини-вывод
- As a result, … / Therefore, …
Абзац 3. Минусы (3–4 предложения)
- Топик-sentence
- On the other hand, there are some disadvantages of [topic].
или
- However, [topic] also has a serious drawback: …
2. Объяснение минуса
- Firstly, …
- Secondly, …
3. Пример / следствие
- For example, … / This can lead to …
Абзац 4. Заключение + личное мнение (2–3предложения)
- Краткий итог
- To sum up, [topic] has both positive and negative sides.
- Taking everything into account, it is clear that there are pros and cons of [topic].
2. Ваше мнение + 1 причина
- Personally, I believe that its advantages outweigh its disadvantages because…
- In my opinion, [topic] is / is not a good idea, as…
Пример использования шаблона:
Topic: Nowadays many people prefer shopping online. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of shopping online and give your own opinion.
Nowadays many people prefer shopping online instead of going to traditional stores. Some people think that buying things on the Internet is very convenient, whereas others think differently. This essay will consider both advantages and disadvantages of shopping online and I will give my own opinion.
On the one hand, online shopping can save time and money. For example, people do not have to travel to different shops and stand in long queues. They can compare prices on various websites and choose the best offer in a few clicks. As a result, customers often find cheaper products and have more free time for work or leisure.
On the other hand, buying things on the Internet has some drawbacks. For example, a person cannot see or try the product before paying for it, so the quality might be worse than expected. In addition, parcels sometimes arrive late or get lost on the way, which makes people feel disappointed.
To sum up, online shopping has both positive and negative sides. Personally, I believe that its advantages outweigh its disadvantages, but people should be careful and use reliable websites when they buy things on the Internet.
