Analyzing texts might be hard not only for beginners in english, but for students with advanced levels as well. Therefore, it's important to give students or those who learn in general a foundament. Epithet

Antithesis

1. Which objects are being contrasted?

2. What is the subtext behind this antithesis? what did author wanted to say?

3. what is author's attitude to these objects?

Impersonation

1. What is being impersonified?

2. Which human featured does author give to inanimate object?

3. What did author want to express through the impersonation?

4. How do you imagine impersonified object? Which emotions it has?

These are the plans of analysis for most commom means of expression. Once you're sure in your capability to do analysis on your own, you can change the order of points of the plan or use your absolutely new and unique plan
