Thank you for your letter! It was great to hear from you again.
I’m really happy you enjoyed the book about 14th-century England.
As for me, I enjoy reading adventure novels and historical fiction because they let me escape into different worlds. The most interesting period in Russian history, in my opinion, is the 19th century: it was a time of great writers, cultural changes and important social reforms. If I had a time machine, I would like to visit Italy during the Renaissance to see the birth of art and science with my own eyes.
By the way, you mentioned your birthday. What kind of party did you have? Was the new camera your favourite birthday gift? What was the most memorable moment of the day?
Anyway, I have to go now because I have some homework to do. Write back soon.
