Text 1 — A Sudden Change in Plans

Marta had planned to attend a small family dinner, but the situation suddenly changed.

However, the unexpected evening gave her a great opportunity to improve her cooking skills. She managed to improve an old recipe that her grandmother had taught her.

In the end, both Marta and her guests were happy, even though the plan did not appear simple at first.

Text 2 — A Growing Town

The town where Daniel lives is starting to develop quickly. The local government wants to employ more people and create new jobs.

According to recent data, the population has increased by 15% in the last two years.

Daniel sees this as a good opportunity, however, some residents refuse to accept so many changes. They want to avoid busy streets and crowded parks. New cafés and shops appear almost every month, and both young and older people are trying to adapt to this big change.

Text 3 — Personal Growth

Lena decided she needed to improve her communication skills if she wanted to find new career opportunities. She began to attend public speaking classes, and according to her coach, she was beginning to develop real confidence.

However, sometimes she wanted to avoid difficult tasks because they made her nervous. One day she was asked to speak in front of both her classmates and their relatives. She wanted to refuse, but she didn’t want to appear weak.

In the end, she succeeded, and the teacher promised to employ her as an assistant in future classes.
