Церемония награждения Indie Game Awards 2025 в этом году пройдёт 18 ноября — и на ней будет представлена новая номинация, Indie Vanguard Class. В ней отметят те студии, которые «трудятся на благо независимых студий и инди-сцены».
Премию Indie Game Awards проводит Six One Indie — организация, специализирующаяся на повышении узнаваемости инди-игр среди геймеров. Всего будет представлено 18 категорий, среди которых — как крупные «инди-блокбастеры», вроде Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 или Hollow Knight: Silksong, так и менее заметные проекты.
