In September, the PayPal and Palantir founder, as well as a well-known investor, hinted at giving four closed-door lectures on this very topic. He’s been on a bit of a roll with it lately. Turns out, "off the record" might’ve just been clever marketing. Thiel himself joked, "It's a pretty slick move if you want everyone to know what you're talking about without letting them in.” Reporters even had to hire experts to verify that those tapes weren’t AI forgeries.

Thiel spent a lot of time discussing regulation. He argues that innovators need total freedom; otherwise, restricting them could lead to chaos in the U.S. and spawn global totalitarianism. So if you’re out there regulating or criticizing developers? You’re playing into the hands of the Antichrist—he even dragged Greta Thunberg into it! 🌍

He claims that tech criticism and calls for stricter rules echo biblical tales of an Antichrist promising “peace and safety” amid apocalyptic fears.

Thiel also slammed global financial regulations as signs of an emerging one-world government ready for Antichrist takeover—yikes! “Hiding your money is getting tough with this tax compliance machine,” he said.

“I can give you plenty of logical reasons why a one-world government is bad news—it’d turn Earth into a prison with sky-high taxes. But if you strip it from biblical context, you’ll never see how scary it really is; you won’t resist.” 😳

He took shots at various politicians too while hunting for the Antichrist. Donald Trump? Not him—though he’s open to debate. Joe Biden and Xi Jinping lack charisma for the role, while Bill Gates is “a really terrible guy” but still doesn’t fit either.

As for Elon Musk? Thiel had high praise! He called him one of the “smartest and most thoughtful people” he knows—but suggested Musk skip out on Giving Pledge (the half-your-fortune thing) since Gates might dictate where that cash goes—and we know how Thiel feels about Gates! 😅
