On June 16, 2025, participants of Level 4 of the first season of the “Business Diplomat” program paid an official visit to one of New Zealand’s most prominent business organizations — the Auckland Business Chamber. The delegation, consisting of over 25 Uzbek entrepreneurs, was led by the program’s founder, Mr. Mirshod Shakirov.
The central focus of the meeting was to explore current and future business opportunities for Uzbek entrepreneurs in New Zealand. Representatives of the Chamber provided detailed insights into the country’s legal frameworks, investor-friendly policies, and modern business infrastructure. Importantly, the hosts expressed clear interest and readiness to cooperate with Uzbek businesses across various sectors, including trade, services, and technology.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Business Diplomat and the Auckland Business Chamber. The memorandum underscores the commitment of both sides to strengthening international cooperation and lays the groundwork for future joint projects and business exchanges.
This visit marked a significant milestone for Uzbek entrepreneurs, offering them a valuable platform to connect with New Zealand’s business ecosystem, gain practical insights, and begin building lasting international partnerships.
