Banks Respond to Market Trends
Krasnodar, 7 November – Yug Times. Car loan issuance in Krasnodar Krai in January – September 2025 fell by 45 per cent, compared to the same period of the previous year. Residents took out 50.7 billion roubles in car loans, compared with 92.5 billion during the same period of 2024, the National Bureau of Credit Histories reported.
The largest volumes of car loans issued across Russia were recorded in Moscow City (93.4 billion roubles), Moscow Oblast (83.7 billion), St Petersburg (57.2 billion), Tatarstan (51.3 billion) and Krasnodar Krai (50.7 billion).
“The drop in car lending in January September 2025 compared with the previous year resulted from rising market interest rates and an increased recycling fee in the second half of 2024,” said NBCH Marketing Director Aleksei Volkov.
