Vivienne Westwood is the hugely influential and iconic British fashion designer, best known for bringing punk and new wave fashions to the mainstream and later for her avant-garde reinvention of historical styles.
She began her career in the late 1960s when she was just 19!
And during her career she received the Order of the British Empire, the title of Dame Commander and was twice named Designer of the Year.

In addition to fashion, Vivienne Westwood was involved in political and environmental activism, supporting human rights and using their image and brand as a platform to protest and promote ideas.
