B1-level story: A Rainy Day in London

Last Saturday, I visited London for the first time. The weather forecast said it might rain, so I decided to wear a macwhen I left my hotel. In the morning, the sun was shining, and I felt a little too warm. I saw many people in the park who didn’t have raincoats, but some tourists, like me, had chosen to carry a mac just in case.

I also had my Mac — my MacBook — with me. I decided to pack a Mac in my bag because I wanted to check photos and write notes later. In the afternoon, the sky turned grey, and a light rain began to fall. I was glad I had decided to pack a mac. The rain didn’t stop me from working a little in a café; I used my Mac to edit pictures and send emails while I drank tea.

Now I always remember: in the UK, it’s a good idea to wear, carry, or pack a mac — even if the day starts sunny!
