Social Infrastructure Projects Deliver Results

Krasnodar, 30 July – Yug Times. Since 2016, Krasnodar has seen the construction of 47 new schools and 72 nursery schools. Back in 2015, not a single new school was built in the city, and in subsequent years only one or two were opened annually. But later on, the start of the academic year on 1 September has seen several schools opening their doors at once. Last year was particularly productive: ten new educational institutions were launched in Krasnodar, offering almost 12,000 school places. This year, five large new schools are set to open in the city, along with two educational blocks in the suburban settlements of Yelizavetinskaya and Lazurny. Together, these facilities will provide places for 8,425 students. Last year also marked the completion of the national project “Education,” resulting in 82 institutions receiving grants to develop a digital learning environment.

Fourteen rural schools have been equipped with “Growth Point” centres focused on science, humanities, and technology, while Advanced Secondary School No. 87 is implementing the “IT-Cube” project offering technical programmes.

From 2016 to 2025, a total of 72 pre-schools with 18,660 places were built, including 4,165 places in 2024. Notably, 42 new kindergartens were built over just the past three years.
