Fan riot and scandal around the outer banks

"From the first minutes of the series, I was already squealing with delight. After the first episode, I started looking for edits and subscribing to the actors' Instagram. This is just a wild series: something happens every second, everything goes from one extreme to another." And this is not an exaggeration at all: one minute John B falls from a tower, the next the entire island is chasing him for his crimes, and at the same time JJ is beaten, Pope is deprived of his future, Kiara is locked up with the main villain, and Sarah is trying to be killed by her own family. All this applies to the legendary series "Outer Banks" of 2020.

The plot tells the story of a group of teenagers living on the coastal islands of North Carolina who are looking for a legendary treasure associated with the disappearance of the father of one of their own. During the search, they encounter dangers, intrigues and secrets, as well as a confrontation between "bait fish" (or fry) and "sharks". While Cleo, Pope and Sarah are all clear, the other main characters require more attention. For example, John B evokes mixed feelings with his actions at the end of season four. On the one hand, he is a good guy, looking for treasure, finding it with his father, and is head over heels in love with his girlfriend Sarah. But when she, pregnant, falls into the open sea during a storm and calls John B for help, he just stands on the deck and watches as his best friend JJ saves his girlfriend. This moment was not given much importance; most likely, the directors wanted to bring Maybank out of his depressed state, so that he would appear before the world as a hero from the ashes. And, by the way, there are even more questions about JJ himself. It is worth starting with his romantic chemistry with Ciara. From the very first episode, we see that this character is in love with Ki and openly tells John about it: "I was hitting on her, man." "She's the hottest girl on the block." At first, he says it jokingly, like he doesn't care, the main thing is that she's attractive. But when Rafe said the same thing, he pounced on him. And when Kiara was with John or Pope, he was clearly jealous. However, when Kiara screams at him, "I love you, man," he avoids the conversation at all costs and takes out his anger on her. Why is that? First, Kiara noticed that he is afraid to open up to people. Second, actor Rudy correctly noted in an interview: "If Kiara switched from John to Pope, and then immediately to JJ, you would think that she wanted all three." JJ is a complex and damaged character, so much so that you want to say: "Why did he get all this in season four?" One father betrays and sells his property, and the second first tries to kill him, and then kills him. This is too cruel for such a deep character like Jay. He takes the blame for Pope, jumps into a storm for a loved one, helps his stepfather, despite their disgusting relationship. (If you remember the first season, episode 7, where Jay breaks down in the hot tub and seeks support from Kiara (this is where their imperceptible chemistry began), and all because of Luke). Ward at first seemed like an insignificant character, until the moment with the fishing, to which he invited his adopted John B. Who would have thought that everything would end like this? One fishing trip - and John is wanted by the entire county, accusing him of all possible murders, the loss of treasure, the staged death of Ward, attempts to kill Sarah by her own loved ones, a desert island, a gold cross, and so much more not listed. Ward's bad behavior is not to be ignored, but his last act of protecting his daughter adds a little respect to him. Around all these adventures revolves Rafe, a guy who does crazy things without any purpose. (Ward is after gold, Barry is trying to survive, Rose wants to help her husband, and Rafe... he is trying to be a good son for his father). Everyone hated him until season 4... Not only because he became handsome after his haircut, but his actions changed significantly - he helped the bait, made peace with Sarah, and his shenanigans with Kiara significantly improved his reputation among the viewers. It is worth mentioning Ki - a character who has sunk into the hearts of many, including me. A fantastic girl, ready to do anything for her friends. As for Madison's performance at the end of season 4 - it's better to remain silent, she literally pulled out the entire scene with the death of everyone's favorite jj (even though at that moment the actors hated each other). If Rudy and Madison really don't get along, then why not remove Maybank from the show and accept the new couple of Kiara and Rafe - this is what most fans think. It's hard to say whether there is chemistry between them, but it's impossible not to notice Rafe's gaze - perhaps in real life, the actors have something in common. On the one hand, this would be a good couple for the fifth season, but on the other - JJ would turn over in his grave if he found out that this couple is together after everything that happened. Fans are not satisfied not only with the terrible dubbing, starting with season 3, but also, of course, the death of JJ Maybank. This is not the only memorable moment in the series. Let's remember how the heroes unexpectedly met in Charleston, found El Dorado or how John B. met his father. However, the fourth season finale cannot surpass any of these moments. Many even argue that the fourth season was too heavy and it would have been better to end it all on the third. But true fans say: "Let it be sad, but at least there will be a lot of show." Why did this happen? And will J.J. return in the fifth season? It is difficult to say, but most likely not. Rudy Pankow left the series due to a scandal related to Madison, his girlfriend Elaine and a group of fans. At the beginning of filming, there was an incredibly friendly atmosphere behind the scenes, Rudy and Madison were best friends and constantly spent time together. In season 3, when they started dating, Elaine intervened and asked to remove all scenes of JJ and Ciara kissing together, and also wanted the actors to no longer communicate. A strange jealousy, one might say, considering that Madison had a partner at the time, but according to rumors, Elaine already had experience in cheating. Rudy was in a relationship when he started dating Elaine. And Pankow's ex is a friend of Madison Bailey. And it turns out to be a vicious square.

When actors play love on screen, in real life at some point they can really feel the same, although it is deceptive. You can safely say, by the look or actions of Rudy, that he was in love with Madison for some time.

At the beginning of this whole situation, Madison Bailey defended Rudy and Elaine, telling fans in stories: "We were never romantically involved, why would you think that? I've called them and we have no problems." But soon, for some unknown reason, they unfollowed each other, and in the fourth season, in joint episodes, they asked to use stunt doubles, and on the set, they did not even look at each other. In this situation, Madeline Cline also appears, who completely sided with Madison, unfollowed Rudy and his girlfriend and no longer communicates with them. Of course, this proves that the actresses have a wonderful relationship, you can even say that they are best friends. But Elaine has had a hard time for five years: under every video, under every post, fans and viewers cruelly express their hatred towards her. And the strangest thing is that such hate does not reach the actor Pankow himself. (Although it would be wrong to express my personal point of view, I really want to express all the negativity towards this lady. After all, it is customary if fans think that actors are well suited to each other, there is no escape from it.)

About a week ago, the cast posted about the filming of the new season, where everyone was present except Rudy. The first comment read: "I like it, but I miss Rudy," and Madelaine immediately responded: "Not our decision, friend." The actress also recently said that now on the set there is a surprisingly cozy atmosphere, reminding her of the first season. Viewers quickly picked up on this and began making videos about "how good it is now without Rudy."

The girls are blossoming, the cast is happy, and we, the viewers, hope that Rudy will come to his senses.
