Subject: Invitation to the Bandung at 70 Conference - BRICS PLUS Session

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that an international inter- and transdisciplinary conference, promoted and coordinated by Prof. Darwis Khudori, will be held in Indonesia from October 25 to November 4, 2025, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Bandung Conference (1955).

The conference is titled “BANDUNG AT 70: Assessments and Perspectives to Build the World Anew”. The conference is organized in collaboration with Indonesia's leading universities and research centers, as well as cultural and social associations. It is structured into general assemblies and thematic sessions. There are two ways to participate: in person or via video link. BRICS Session: A specific session will be dedicated to the BRICS Plus Coordination, its perspectives, and the commitments made at the last summit held on July 6-7, 2025, in Rio de Janeiro, under Brazil's annual presidency. The session's title is: “BRICS Plus and the Spirit of Bandung: Policies and Actions for Building a Just Global Multilateral System in the 21st Century. The value of collaboration with continental and regional coordination institutions”

The session offers the opportunity to participate in a shared reflection with a high-level international scientific community.

As background documentation, we attach the Final Declaration approved by the Heads of State and Government who participated in the 17th BRICS Plus Summit (Brazil, July 6-7, 2025).

Abstracts and Papers: We invite anyone interested to submit their research and studies, ideas, and insights, and to submit an Abstract on the proposed topic, including key-words, by the end of July. Please note: Abstracts must be uploaded directly by the submitter, along with their personal information, to the conference website:

Upon evaluation and acceptance of the proposed abstract by the conference's Scientific Committee, the proponent will be formally invited to participate and included in the official session program of the event.
