Tyrannosaurus — An Apex Predator

Tyrannosaurus is a carnivore from the past, which everybody knows. It was a king of the dinosaurs and a really dangerous animal. This predator lived in the Cretaceous (73–66 million years ago) on the Laramidia (part of South America). There are two species of tyrannosaurus: T. rex and T. mcraeensis. The second one was discovered in 2024. It was a bipedal dinosaur with a massive skull. In its mouth there were very big teeth, which looked like bananas. So it had a long and heavy tail for balance. It was 12 meters in length, 4 meters in height, and 9 tons in mass. This dinosaur also had very good eyesight and a sense of smell. It was an apex predator in its environment. Victims such as triceratops or edmontosaurus sometimes could not escape the grip of a tyrannosaurus. Perhaps it was the greatest hunter.
