Анонсирован новый класс 'Арбитр' в Warhammer 40,000: Darktide и детали Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II

creators of the cooperative first-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide have officially announced the addition of a new playable class — the Arbiter (Adeptus Arbites). The expansion featuring this class is set to release on June 23, 2025, across all platforms for $11.99 / €11.99, with regional pricing for Russia yet to be announced. The Arbiter class will introduce a new combat dynamic based on the ruthless service to the Imperium and the administration of justice in one of the darkest corners of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. In the lore of Warhammer 40,000, Arbiters are the enforcers of Imperial Law, specially adapted for the cooperative structure of Darktide. Players will take on the role of an Imperial Justice Officer, capable of instilling fear and destruction through a unique arsenal and the support of a cybernetic combat dog. This cyber-mastiff will act as a complete combat tool, capable of attacking enemies, disabling priority targets, and enhancing the team’s capabilities.

The new talent tree will offer over 80 nodes for flexible character customization. The Arbiter can choose among three main development paths, ensuring versatility in battle approaches and team play. Additionally, players will have access to the anti-grav platform Nuncio Aquila, which broadcasts the voice of the Imperium and exerts psychological pressure on opponents. For close combat, enhanced shields and a unique combination of melee and ranged weaponry — the Dominator Hammer and service shotgun — will be available. A special ammunition module for the shotguns will increase their effectiveness against particularly resilient foes.

In conjunction with the announcement of the expansion, the original Warhammer 40,000: Darktide game has received a 60% discount. Until June 5, the standard edition can be purchased for 1099 rubles.

In addition to this, the sequel to the acclaimed XCOM-like strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus was announced a year ago, but has yet to reveal a release date. To present something at the Skulls festival, the developers unveiled a major surprise — the Space Dwarves from the Leagues of Votann will join the Adeptus Mechanicus in battle.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II will expand upon the features of its predecessor, allowing for in-depth customization of units and enabling players to battle not only in dungeons but also on the surface. The game will include two campaigns: one for the Mechanicus and another for the Necrons, each with its unique tactical capabilities.

Players can expect the game on PC (Steam, EGS), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
